What this site is
Bettor Community reviews the people and software selling bettors an edge: handicappers who sell picks, the platforms they sell on, and the tools that track and price bets.
It exists because this is a category where almost every review is written by the person being reviewed. Records get screenshotted rather than tracked, losing months quietly disappear, and accounts rebrand and start again with a clean slate. There is real skill in this industry and there is a great deal of noise, and telling them apart takes a consistent method applied to everyone.
So we publish one: a six-point rubric, the weights behind it, and a verification label on every record saying who produced it. When we cannot confirm something, the page says so.
How we make money
Some links to software tools are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
That relationship never moves a rating. Nobody can buy a score, a position in the directory, or a place on the leaderboard, and there is no price list for any of those because they are not for sale. Where a page contains affiliate links, it says so on the page.
If that ever changes, it will be written here first, dated, rather than quietly adjusted.
What we deliberately do not cover
Sportsbooks and betting exchanges. We cover the people and software selling you an edge, not the venues where you place the bet. Reviewing licensed betting operators is a different business with different regulatory obligations, and steering readers toward somewhere to gamble is not what this site is for.
We also do not sell picks, publish our own picks, or take a side on any game. We are not handicappers and have no record for you to follow.
If we get something wrong
We will. Numbers go stale, records get misread, and platforms change fees without announcing it. Tell us and we will correct the page and date the correction rather than silently editing it. If you are a seller who thinks a score is unfair, send a tracked record. A verified record moves a score more than any argument will.
A word on gambling
Nothing here is a guarantee of profit and no score should be read as one. A high rating means a seller has been more transparent and more independently verified than their peers. It does not mean they will win, and most bettors lose over time regardless of who they follow. If gambling has stopped being fun, ncpgambling.org and 1-800-GAMBLER are there, free and confidential.
